Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX. This role will require communication and collaboration with multiple disciplines within the program, as well as internal and external suppliers.

The day-to-day business rhythm will be the application of manufacturing engineering methodologies and skills to meet customer requirements and achieve the goals and objectives of the production program.

You will be part of a team that contributes to the success of the program and delivery of the product.

This individual will assist with the process development of multiple mechanical parts relating to an individual program. Work with shop floor personnel to develop work instructions that are accurate and yield high-quality products.

Work with NC programming, Tool Design, Engineering, and shop floor personnel to continuously improve the process. Investigate and identify root cause for all defects related to the product.

Support the program needs for delivery of assembled mechanical parts. Occasional travel is required.

This position requires a self-motivated individual driven to improve manufacturing processes and coordinate producibility issues between Technical Operations and Production operations.

Seeking candidate with availability to start in November 2024.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical area, from an accredited college in a related discipline.

Must be a U.S Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Desired Skills :

• Knowledge and ability to demonstrate the use of root cause analysis tools
• Manufacturing background with shop floor experience
• Process knowledge of activities such as ceramic grinding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, materials handling, robotics, and paint / coating systems

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
