Tilt (check us out here) is looking for a Head of Business Operations to join our team and help oversee operations, analytics and process optimization across the business.

This position will work with Tilt leaders to analyze and operationalize new and existing business initiatives in order to meet and beat the company’s strategic objectives and annual operating goals.

This position is a full-time role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. We want you to be successful here at Tilt! Job Description : Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include :

  • Track and analyze operational metrics, delivering regular insights to the business. Maintain a single source of truth for consistent and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee and optimize tools and platforms across the organization, including conducting audits and evaluating new tool proposals.
  • Identify, implement and standardize process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with teams to design and execute effective processes
  • Partner with key stakeholders across legal, finance, product, marketing, people, sales, and customer success to perform in-depth analysis and inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead the Operations team and support the COO in business operations initiatives. Organization documentation, and manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
  • Track and manage projects, timelines, and commitments for internal initiatives and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Own the communication and coordination of company-wide meetings, both internal (All Hands) and external (Board of Directors).
  • Provide strategic input on pursuing and operationalizing new opportunities proposed by the Leadership Team (e.g. new partnerships, outsourcing opportunities, AI augmentation).
  • Lead the company through periods of change, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the business.

You’re a great fit if

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field with at least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • You have a proven track record in an operational leadership role, with a strong ability to drive business outcomes.
  • You bring experience in operations, with expertise in report creation, process optimization and project management.
  • You possess strong business acumen with an ability to make sound business decisions leveraging data analysis.
  • You can grasp high-level strategies, translate them into system and process requirements and ensure successful local execution with measurable business impact
  • You have advanced proficiency with tools such as G-Sheets, Hubspot (or similar CRM applications), and managing large datasets.
  • You excel in problem-solving, with an knack for crafting efficient and scalable processes.
  • You demonstrate strong project management skills, capable of driving projects to completion while effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • You are a strategic thinker, skilled at integrating diverse inputs, encouraging innovation, and challenging the status quo, all while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience in cultivating collaborative relationships across an organization.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments, showing comfort to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • You have high levels of empathy and can connect deeply with Tilt’s mission
  • You have experience working with a startup and / or with a B2B SaaS business, bonus point if you have an understanding of SAAS metrics.

Total Compensation

The projected annual salary range is $000K USD plus stock options (ISOs), because we believe everyone should have some stake in our business.
