Job Title : Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Seeking a diligent Pharmacy Technician to be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Sterile Compounding room and QA, complying with USP 797 guidelines and state law.
This role works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, filling prescriptions and preparing Sterile Compounding.
The technician will also handle staging, preparing, and filling orders for residents at long-term care facilities, and high-risk pregnant women.
Responsibilities include maintaining, cleaning, and managing accountability of pumps, filing, answering phones, stocking areas in the IV department, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness, replenishing and maintaining Emergency Drug Kits for Long Term Care Facilities, and managing shipping and tracking of packages through overnight 3rd party logistics.
