Job Summary and Qualifications

TheRegistered Staff Nurseis responsible forplanning and providing individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual,familyand community.

The nursepossessesknowledge of the principles of growth and development and theparticular skillsnecessary to provideoptimumpatient care to the population for which he or she isemployed.

The RN is accountable for their practice and care coordination.The RN is expected to practice autonomously utilizingevidence-basedpractices.

The practice of the Registered Nurse will support the mission, vision and valuesofMedicalCityPlano and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

What qualifications you will need :

• 1+ year of experience in Critical Care in acute care setting; Neuro experience preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact
• Associate Degree; BSN required within 24 months of hire
