About The Position
Job Title : Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer Job Specialty : Echocardiography Job Duration : Full-time Shift : Monday-Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week Experience : Prior experience performing various types of echocardiogram diagnostic tests such as diagnostic m-mode, two-dimensional, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, and exercise / pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
License : Active state license required at submission. Certifications : RDCS, ARDMS, BCLS, BLS Must-Have : - COVID Vaccines + Booster and 2024-2025 flu vaccine are required.
- Cannot have worked permanent or travel roles for any related facility within the past year. Job Description : Perform a variety of echocardiogram diagnostic tests, including m-mode, two-dimensional, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, and exercise / pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
- Skillfully place and remove peripheral IVs to administer contrast agents or agitated saline in accordance with echocardiogram protocols.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications, including RDCS, ARDMS, and BCLS.- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including updated vaccinations.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and part of a healthcare team.- Provide detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Uphold professional standards in all interactions with patients and healthcare staff.- Benefit from a preference for candidates with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in allied health.
