Job Opportunity : Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Washington
Join a compassionate team dedicated to serving our nation's veterans in a prestigious facility focused on General Medicine. This dynamic practice is seeking Nurse Practitioners to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The role offers flexibility, with options to work half days or full days, and no treatment is required.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Engage primarily in interview-based evaluations with minimal physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Submit reports on completed exams, including any necessary addendums.
- Provide assessments in your own office or at specified locations within the area.
- Complete mandatory training to become DMA certified.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications :
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington.Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.Availability to work on a PRN basis with flexibility for both half-day (4-hours) and full-day (8-hours) shifts.Possession of a laptop (no Mac / Apple products).License and Certification Requirements :
