Job Summary :

FLSA Status : Exempt
Location : On-site Direct Hire
Pay Range : 100k - 125k
As a Financial Controller, you will manage and oversee all accounting operations, ensure financial performance and compliance, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
You will also liaise with auditors, prepare financial reports, and develop internal controls.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee accounting operations (Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Tax Compliance, Inventory Accounting).
- Ensure timely month-end account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance and conduct analysis.
- Liaise with auditors and tax preparers.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Present monthly financials and variance analysis.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage compliance with government reporting and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Oversee inventory counts.
- Perform additional Controller duties as needed.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Controller.
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end / year-end close process, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Expertise in purchase accounting.
