Manager In Training - Convenience Store

Cobblestone annually donates approx. $300,000 to over 125 charitable organizations.
Key job responsibilities :
Manager Human Resources actions
- Employee recruiting and hiring based on anticipated store needs.
- Coach and support new and existing team members.
- Train and development new team members
- Ensure all team members adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines.
Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff.
- Inspire and encourage employees to ensure a high level of morale.
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.
Ensure daily / weekly operations are completed per Cobblestone Standard
- Assist customers and troubleshoot customer service issues when necessary.
- Ensuring store schedules, operational objectives and metric goals are met by employees.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
- Organize, plan and implement strategy.
Inventory
- Monitor inventory levels of product and supplies, place orders based off needs.
- Work with vendors to make sure that product is replenished in a timely manner, as well as auditing deliveries to verify over ordering has occurred.

- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a customer-focused environment
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willing to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with hiring and performance evaluation processes
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
