Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for certain units
- BLS - Basic Life Support required for all Nursing and Allied positions
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for certain units
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for Nursery, NICU, L&D RNs
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for ER RNs
- HIPAA required and expires annually
- State License Verification must be within 30 days of start
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring required for L&D RNs
- NIH Stroke Certification may be required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for all Psych positions

Job Requirements
- Copy of Passport, driver's license or government issued ID is required for each Resource on assignment
- ID must be legible, and picture must be clear
- Unit specific skills checklist required
- Skills checklists are also required for any units the traveler may float to
Unit Specific Information
- Unit specific competency exam required for each department the traveler is assigned to or floating to with a score of 80% or better to be acceptable
- Dysrhythmia / EKG Competency Exam required for ICU, CCU, ER, and Tele RN’s with an 80% pass rate

- For RNs, state licensure must be verified through NURSYS (when applicable-currently all states except HI and MI) AND primary source verification.
