KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director to join our Finance and Accounting organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the individual income tax compliance, tax counseling, tax projections, tax notices and other financial related support for the partners of the firm
  • Review work papers, tax returns and related work products prepared by staff members for accuracy and conformity with tax law and documentation standards
  • Manage high volume client load with minimum supervision in addition to managing one or more projects throughout the year
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications :

  • Minimum five years of recent progressive experience preparing federal and state individual tax returns for clients, preferably within a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university in business, finance, or accounting
  • Strong technical skills in the following areas : High Net-Worth Individuals, Partnership and Multi-State Taxation Theory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills; able to work well in a team environment and / or independently
  • Solid client management skills, ability to gain the confidence of the client and communicate complex tax matters in a manner client can understand
  • Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent required

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
