Primary Purpose :
Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, and implementation of district departments of financial services and child nutrition.
Serve as the chief financial advisor to the Superintendent. Ensure the management and optimization of financial resources, including federal and state grants and programs necessary to support the district's educational mission and strategic goals.
Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
Master’s degree in a business-related field or educational administration
Certified Public Accountant
TASBO Certification
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Advanced technical knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics
Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting
Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to coordinate district functions
Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience :
Five years of job-related experience
Salary Range : $115,000 - $138,000
