Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Small vessel operation
  • Skilled equipment operations including but not limited to forklift, pump operations, hand tools (Hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and gas powered) and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders and back hoes).
  • Welding and cutting
  • Oil Spill response
  • Deploying, retrieval, and processing of sorbent materials
  • Boom deployment and retrieval
  • Boom and fender maintenance
  • Driving / positioning company vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have valid driver license, valid car insurance and submit driving record for the past three years
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions; rain, sleet, storm, snow, heat, etc.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
  • 24hour and 7 day a week availability based upon project or emergency response needs

    • Required Experience :

  • 1-3 years’ experience in the maritime industry or construction industry
  • First / Aid CPR
  • HAZWOPER
  • Current Passport
  • Boaters Card (Washington state boater’s card)
  • USCG License
