Position : SCADA Analyst
Location - This is Hybrid opportunity is located near the Galleria area. This opportunity is only available to candidates currently residing in Houston, TX.
Duration long term
Visa USC and GC only
You will be responsible for learning to configure, maintain, automate, and troubleshoot IT systems, software, and protocols such as SCADA, OPC, HMI, and SNMP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of SCADA experience
- 2 years minimum experience with AVEVA OASys, Kepware, Honeywell Experion PKS or equivalent platform
Responsibilities
- Plans, implements, modifies, administers, and evaluates Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and systems.
- Monitor system policies and procedures, and performing system-wide asset management
- Control and analyze industrial devices and processes
- Upgrade the current AVEVA platform to a newer enhanced platform.
- Confirm that the input or output of each field instrument is accurately and reliably reflected in the SCADA information presented to the controller
