Role Summary :
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of automobile casualty claims? We are looking for a skilled Casualty Adjuster who excels in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing a wide range of claims from minor incidents to high-severity bodily injury cases.
You will play a key role in assessing coverage, investigating accidents, and negotiating settlements, ensuring our policyholders receive the support they need during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities :
- Investigate Accidents : Conduct comprehensive investigations into moderate to high-severity motor vehicle accidents, working with customers, claimants, and witnesses to determine coverage and liability.
- Accurate Reserves : Maintain precise reserves and manage loss adjustment expenses effectively to ensure financial integrity in claims handling.
- Effective Communication : Collaborate with policyholders, agents, underwriters, and claims management to provide timely updates and resolutions.
- Adherence to Best Practices : Follow best practices and litigation management guidelines to maintain high standards in claims handling.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate in special projects and contribute to enhancing our claims processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with three to five years of experience handling auto casualty bodily injury claims.
- Industry Designations : Relevant insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA are a plus.
- Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Litigation Experience : Previous litigation experience preferred, with in-depth knowledge of customer service techniques and processes.
- Presentation Skills : Proven ability to present large loss reports and findings to key stakeholders effectively.
