In this role you will be a highly business minded individual who has a technical understanding to lead technical teams in agile environments.
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver Message Broadcasts vision and strategy.
You will be responsible for leading and driving initiatives from inception to execution. You will work directly with leaders across our organization, including executives and stakeholders.
In addition, you will work directly with our enterprise clients - potential, new and existing. Ultimately, you and your team will be responsible for the growth and opportunities for Message Broadcast products in the market.
What you will do :
- Spend time with our enterprise customers to better understand their needs and pain points - Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate innovative ideas that grow market share, improve the customer experience and drive growth.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Drive product launches including working with sales and marketing team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
- Understand and monitor KPIs and OKRs to support data-driven decisions influencing product and feature development.
- Work with leadership and stakeholders on roadmap planning and prioritization of backlog.
- Build roadmaps for internal and external customers.
- Verify problems to be solved for the department and specify what measurement of success would be for the team.
- Test and monitor new product improvements and features to ensure they meet requirements and improve products.
- Quantitatively and qualitatively research to gather data to support and prioritize effective and innovative product enhancements and / or new products.
- Ideate and launch new products and features, while effectively guiding a team of product managers as the department grows.
- Track, maintain, and continually groom product backlogs.
- Write requirements.
- Lead monthly product reviews and quarterly planning sessions.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Able to communicate business value of product capabilities to sales and marketing.
Qualifications
What you have - Required Skills :
- Bachelors degree in business, computer science or related field and / or applicable work experience.
- 6 - 10+ years of experience in Product Management experience in a software development environment working with enterprise clients.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Solid technical background with understanding and / or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Deep understanding of product management best practices in agile environments.
- Experience building roadmaps and guiding teams of product managers.
- Experience leading product reviews, quarterly planning sessions and ideation of new products.
- Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.
- Proven work experience in product management for SaaS or CPaaS products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive cross-department alignment to the overall strategy.
- Experience in a technology / software environment, understanding and knowledge of software development practices.
