Iron Mountain’s ALM services include configuration, imaging, Inventory management, decommissioning, data erasure, remarketing, reclaiming, and recycling to recover value.
The Senior Project / Program Manager role will be a part of the Asset Lifecycle Management team at Iron Mountain.
The Iron Mountain Teraware product is a data sanitization platform with the ability to scale from a single laptop to the largest of hyperscale data centers.
The product development started in 2014 and now has a proven track record having cleared data from millions of drives to date.
The product can gather inventory of all machines with attributes down to the quality of individual drives.
The Senior Project / Program Manager is a technical resource who can both plan and execute engagements to meet customer requirements and work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Responsibilities :
Perform planning and management of data center decommission jobs that utilize the Teraware platform.
Creation of build documents for wiping racks and assisting with building of the first iteration of new platforms.
Monitoring and troubleshooting appliances globally
Work on global enablement documents for sales, pre-sales and execution
Support on OCP gear troubleshooting
Assist with requirements on analytics and reporting to help operations
Assist with builds of appliances for client deployments
Pre-sales support for calls
Assist with maintenance of FAQ
Assist with requirements, UAT for handhelds for decommissioning jobs
Client and operations support with Teraware operations
Assist with prototype technical solutions for operations
Travel to Olathe Kansas as needed (up to 25%) to assist operations with system performance and troubleshooting
Travel to decommissioning jobs as they occur
Cross training of other staff
Support product management
Testing of new releases of TW
Assist with Teraware test bed (inventory, determining when to remove old gear, maintain equipment diversity)
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
Contribute to and maintain knowledge bases.
Provide pre-sales support for sales calls.
Participate in certification efforts of the Teraware product.
Requirements :
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
10+ years of experience in a job in the technology market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Technical background
Excellent teamwork skills
Must be able to travel both domestically and abroad on occasion.
