Position Title : Senior Financial Analyst
Reports To : Chief Commercial Officer
Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will manage data analysis and develop complex financial models to support decision-making processes.
As part of the Commercial team, the analyst will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external customers, partners, and suppliers.
Core Responsibilities :
- Develop, own, and manage complex financial models, including cash flow forecasts, investment return scenarios, and strategic analyses for partnerships, investments, and capital allocation.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow forecasts, levered and unlevered investment returns, and sensitivity analyses for potential capital investments and strategic initiatives.
- Present financial models and sensitivity analyses to aid leadership and customers in decision-making.
- Summarize financial modeling results in presentations, helping leadership assess strengths and risks in given opportunities and assisting customers in understanding cost differences between scenarios.
- Develop dashboards to track performance metrics for the business and customers.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the company’s operating budget.
Required Education & Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial strategy roles.
- Extensive experience with discounted cash flows, levered and unlevered investment returns, and sensitivity analyses.
Technical Qualifications :
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong proficiency in DCF analysis, including NPV, unlevered and levered IRR, and familiarity with MACRS depreciation and NOL carryforward impacts on investment returns.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI (or similar Business Intelligence tools).
