Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital with a busy ER, ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, and OR coverage Rotating day / night 10-hour shifts with weekend, holiday, and potential on-call requirements based on staffing needs Unit consists of CT and X-ray modalities, including stroke, trauma, and orthopedic cases Procedures include CTAs, trauma imaging, emergent surgical imaging with C-arm, joint imaging, and radiology injections / biopsies as needed Equipment includes Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio Xray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C EMR is Epic with PACS by McKesson; experience with these systems is preferred Orientation typically consists of one week Floating may be required to assist with radiology injections / biopsies and will include training as needed Responsibilities include performing a full range of x-ray and CT imaging studies across multiple patient populations Must demonstrate strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively with a supportive radiology team Work environment can be busy due to high ER and clinic volumes and proximity to a major highway Director available during weekdays and reachable after hours in emergent situations RTO must be provided upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission Candidates must not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity, within the past year; PRN through outside firms is acceptable Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration Requirements Minimum 1 year of current x-ray and CT experience required Active ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required; ARRT(CT) preferred Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted Proficiency operating Siemens and GE imaging equipment Experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems preferred Ability to perform C-arm procedures in surgery for emergent and trauma cases Must provide a copy of driver’s license for consideration Two professional references required : one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615275.
