About The Position
A facility is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located outside of Dayton, Ohio.
The schedule for this position is from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., focusing on a range of required procedures in general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
These procedures include coronary artery bypass surgery, correction of congenital defects, valvular repairs and replacements, and aneurysm repairs.
The role also encompasses lung resections, including video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATs), as well as chest wall and pleural procedures.
Additional responsibilities include surgeries on the esophagus and diaphragm, endarterectomies (both carotid and renal), ventilation management, bronchoscopy, and the evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
The facility has an EMR system.
