Job Description :
- Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
- Analyze samples of blood, tissue, and bodily fluids using automated equipment and manual techniques.
- Interpret and validate test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate laboratory information.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to uphold laboratory standards.
Education & Certification Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the state of California.
- ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
