Smith Personnel is seeking experienced Machine Operators ( Anglematic / CNC / Saw Operator / Sand Blaster). If Interested call / text Stephanie at 817-900-6216.

Schedule - 1st shift : Monday-Friday 5am to 1 : 30pm - Must be able to work OT when needed.

2nd shift : Mon-Thurs 4pm-12 : 30am with OT 2 : 30am - Friday Hours-2pm-10 : 30pm - Saturday Hours 1pm-9pm

JOB SUMMARY Machine Operator I reports to the Machine Operator Leadman, operates one or more of the following machines 12’ Press Break, 20’ Press Break, ESAB Avenger Oxy Fuel Burn Table, Messer Plasma, Controlled Automation Burn Drill Table, Phython Robotic Plasma Machine and 60’ PULLMAX Press.

Operator is responsible for safety and quality of the product off the line. The Operator is also responsible for housekeeping, trouble-shooting, and achieving daily production and quality requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Verify correct raw material or work-in-progress material.
• Follow Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Record (MQAR’s) instructions.
• Follow all plant safety regulations and consider safety first in all job actions.
• Support the Department's daily and weekly production schedule.
• Maintain the highest quality standard.
• Participate in equipment preventive maintenance at the operator level.
• Maintain performance log book on assigned area equipment, and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Use hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Advise the maintenance department of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Using hand and arm signals for handling, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• Perform job responsibilities safely in a busy sometimes stressful environment.
• Operate equipment productively for 8+ hours per day, year-round in all types of local weather and ground conditions.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
