Robert Half Talent Solutions is looking for a seasoned Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with a special focus on healthcare data and healthcare programs.
The position is on a long-term contract basis and is completely remote but the incumbents need to be based in California.
Responsibilities of a BI Analyst include conducting detailed business analysis and creating long-lasting analytic solutions.
The analyst supports crucial business decisions and operational processes and forms a partnership with users of business data.
Responsibilities :
- Develop dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, highlighting key trends in the business.
- Work with the Director and BI team to determine the best analytic solution to meet specific program needs.
- Align time spent on projects with top BI and organizational priorities.
- Analyze findings, providing insights into trends and identifying contributing factors that affect variances.
- Independently execute tasks in an appropriate time frame as a BI Project Lead.
- Use the BI Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Document report / processes / logic and actively participate in department’s efforts to improve collective knowledge base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand, gather, and document business requirements for reporting and data projects.
- Tailor solutions to program or department and increase knowledge of their program data.
- Maintain foundational data projects to increase the availability of organizational and program data for reporting.
3-5 years of experience in healthcare data, analytics, reporting or a relevant field.
Proficiency in EHR is a must.
4+ years of experience in developing Dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL Management Studio and an intermediate level experience in SQL query.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau / Power BI, and PowerPoint.
Strong organization and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues.
Familiarity with concepts such as data lineage / lifecycle and data warehousing.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Informatics, Analytics, or a related field.
