We areseeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join ourtalented team. As a Physical Therapist at WTCP you will have the opportunity to contributeto patient care and improve their outcomes.

• The working schedule for thisrole is Monday through Friday 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00PM
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Theduration is 13 weeks as a contractor
• Theanticipated start for this role is two weeks after an acceptedoffer
• No Holiday Oncall Rotation or Weekendrequirements

KeyResponsibilities :

• Consult with patients to learn about theirphysical condition and symptoms and review their medical historyand referrals from doctors or surgeons
• Diagnosemovement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them asthey move about
• Develop an individualizedtreatment plan
• Coach patients and teach themtherapeutic exercises and stretches to improve theircondition
• Use handson therapy such as massageto ease patients pain and provide stimulation to promotehealing
• Maintain patient records by keepingtrack of goals and progress while adapting treatment plansaccordingly
• Advise patients and their familieson inhome treatment options and what to expect from the recoveryprocess
• Communication skills for communicatingdiagnoses test results and available treatments in terms thatclients and their families canunderstand
• Compassion when workingwith individuals frustrated by the difficulties they areexperiencing
• Critical thinking skills foradjusting treatment plans as required and identifying alternativeways to help
• Attention to detail formaintaining notes on treatment andprogress
• Listening skills for listening toconcerns and symptoms of clients so they can decide the mostappropriate course of treatment

Qualifications :

• Valid Physical Therapy statelicense
• 1yr of recent experience as PT inhospital or rehab setting
• BLSCertification
