JOB PURPOSE
The Business Office Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors to the Business Office, and assists with Accounts Payable, Cash Receipt processes and customer service tasks.
This individual is proficient and effective in business and accounting procedures and works well with staff and parents.

This is a full-time, 12-month position immediately available. The start date can be flexible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receptionist for the Business Office, assisting faculty, staff, students and parents
- Executive assistant to the Head of Finance and Operations, assisting with scheduling appointments and managing calendar
- Processes weekly accounts payable batch as it relates to check requests, travel reimbursements, Parent Organization requests and miscellaneous payments
- Follows up on discrepancies in accounts payable requests until final resolution is achieved
- Creates new vendors in the accounting system after collecting W-9 information as needed
- Processes cash receipts, including cash, checks, and credit card activity
- Supports Business Office staff, incoming mail processing and filing of accounting records
- Assists with the yearly enrollment process
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum two-year college degree is required. Bachelor degree is preferred, in Accounting, Business or Finance.
- Experienced in customer service
- Familiar with handling some accounts payable and cash receipts processing and data entry
- Experience with automated accounting systems
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Positive attitude as a can do oriented team player
- Bilingual ability and international experience preferred
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information with high degree of professionalism
