Clean Room Technician in Minneapolis, MN, US Pay $18-20 / hr(Based on experience)
Shift M-F 8am - 4 : 30pm M-F 11am - 7 : 30pm
Job Description
- The person in this role will be working in a clean room environment, fully gowned, assisting in the processes of running bovine or pig blood through equipment on the floor.
- This is a labor role as they will be lifting 50lb jugs of blood and feeding it through the equipment.
- A majority of the role will be cleaning the tools used in the process using dishwashers or by hand.
- They may assist in other areas of labeling, capping, or staging for the next day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 plus year of manufacturing experience in a medical environment preferred
- Must be ok with lifting upward of 50lbs throughout the day
- Must be ok with cleaning instruments and being around blood
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate well written and verbal
Work Environment
For these roles, they will be working with blood that is used for the testing of their product.
They must be ok with being around blood.
Clean Room. Medical manufacturing environment, well lit, clean, comfortable temperatures.
Lighter work, but it is fast paced. Some of the product is located in freezers, so products will be cold, but they supply gloves if need be.
These freezers are like a stand-up freezer you would keep in your garage, they don't go inside them necessarily.
