We are offering an opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor / Manager / Director to join our team in Ham Lake, Minnesota, United States.
The role involves overseeing payroll operations, handling benefits and tax-related matters, and assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the semi-monthly payroll processing and an additional monthly bonus payroll.
- Handle the filing and payment of all payroll taxes ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage the processing of all benefit plan invoices and reconcile them with payroll.
- Act as the point of contact for Workers Compensation matters.
- Handle processing of employee benefits, garnishments, child support payments, and tax levies.
- Resolve employee inquiries and issues relating to payroll and benefits, providing clear and timely responses.
- Manage new employee onboarding, offboarding, and transfer processes to ensure a smooth transition.
- Assist employees with the annual open enrollment process, answering any queries they may have.
- Oversee time clocks and attendance, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Ensure all payroll updates in the payroll system, such as new hires, garnishments, terminations, resignations, leaves of absences, suspensions, wage rate, name, address, and other status changes are accurate and timely.
- Maintain personnel, workers' compensation, payroll, and other confidential files for all employees.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (A / P) and Accounts Receivable (A / R) as needed.
- Demonstrated expertise in 401k - RRSP Administration
- Solid understanding of Benefit Functions
- Proven ability to manage Payroll
- Knowledge and experience with Benefits Administration
- Familiarity with semi-Monthly Payrolls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks software
- Expertise in Payroll Taxes administration
- Ability to supervise and direct a team effectively
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Relevant certification or degree in related field would be advantageous
