Production / Product Development

From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, order placement, pricing, quality control and getting the finished product where it needs to be, our production / product development team is responsible for ensuring we keep our standards high and our business profitable at every step of the journey.

Specific Responsibilities Would Include

This Manager of Product Development will work on brands such as IZOD and Merrell.

  • Manage Style Development from Concept to Order Placement :
  • Ownership of final cost and negotiation for assigned categories to achieve or surpass margin target.
  • Management of overseas offices for cross costing styles
  • Pre-costing for new styles / fabrics presented by Design for viability
  • Work with overseas offices to re-engineer styles and present options to design to meet margin.
  • Create buy charts / po creation charts and work with overseas office to have Factory PO’s issued.

Garment and Trim approval for development

Lab Dip, Handloom, Knit Down & trim tracking in conjunction with overseas Izod partners for development styles

Management of SMS : (works in conjunction with overseas)

  • Ordering, receiving, reporting out, hanging samples
  • AP costs / chart for SMS samples

Fittings

  • Immediate costing feedback for any changes
  • Quality and workmanship comments
  • Approvals with Design to communicate to supplier
  • Calendar timing for approvals for Proto and 1st Fit

  • They excel in communication and facilitating cross functional conversations that lead to a solution
  • Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of technical product used in the outdoor lifecycle
  • They are a go getter and self starter
  • They are highly organized and very detail oriented

Salary Range : $83,200-104,000

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent.

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.

Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
