Description :
Plan and prepare Electrical work packages for the Nuclear Projects organization for large- and small-scale projects to be performed by Electrical and contract maintenance organizations to ensure that the plant projects are performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area (i.
e. maintenance, engineering, operations, Maintenance Planning). OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a technical area (i.
e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning). OR A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work and six years of experience in a technical area (i.
e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning). OR A high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience in a technical area (i.
e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning). Educational experience from an accredited college or university will be considered year for year in exchange for work experience in a technical area.
Required abilities and skills
Requires the following abilities / skills :
Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Strong computer skills.
Able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Able to obtain Planner I qualification.
PMP Certification
Working knowledge of :
Nuclear power plant work management and planning process.
Safety regulations associated with a power plant environment.
ALARA requirements.
Nuclear Security operations, regulations, and requirements
