We are looking for a Project Controller III to join our team in Pomona, CA.

The Project Controller III coordinates the support of the Project Team through monitoring financial information related to projects / programs within an assigned Region or Division and collects, monitors and analyzes project budgets and cost allocations.

The Project Controller III also performs complex financial analysis and utilizes recurrent status and assessment reports to monitor work progress.

This Project Controller III will fully understand major business components and implications specific to accounting for Construction Companies and ensures compliance with external customer contract terms as well as internal company policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines while implementing process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

The Project Controller III is fully responsible for the support of the Project Team by collecting and validating financial information related to cost measurement, customer billings accounts payables, payroll entries, and fleet and equipment utilization.

Responsibilities also include research of payable transaction issues and assistance in implementing improvements. The Project Controller III aids in ensuring that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performance requirements and congruent with the company's strategy.

The ideal candidate will lead by example in an environment that fosters trust and candor, will maintain personal accountability, and communicate assertively and constructively with the client group and team members.

Qualifications :

  • Working knowledge of financial tools, general accounting principles, and ability to master H&M systems -JDE
  • Experienced in accounting, contract administration, or project management
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret data / statistical information
  • Solid computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Moderately complex problem-solving skills Minimum Educational Background : BS degree in Accounting, Finance, related field;
