Product Management Director, AI Data Platform

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The AI Data Platform Product Director will be responsible for building and leading a team of product owners translating the Platform VP, Chief Data Scientist and stakeholders’ vision for the product into viable roadmaps and workable requirements, validating and reviewing system changes with stakeholders, and driving successful execution of initiatives with high dependency management.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, handle various projects and competing priorities while continuing to develop a positive work culture.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of platform strategy and roadmap aligned to corporate strategy and business unit vision
• Define business cases necessary to securing investment approval for new initiatives
• Incorporate customer feedback and market intelligence into planning and development of new enhancements
• Prioritize epics and weighing competing requirements with strong cross functional collaboration, including input from peer product leaders, based on measurable business outcomes
• Mentor junior product managers and guide team members in navigating through challenges
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders and customers to gain insight into platform effectiveness
• Own governance for compliance, security, quality, telemetry and data lineage for the platform
• Own and enhance data tooling around data monetization, data science and ML Ops, storage, transformation, analysis, sharing and reporting
• Represent the team as the main interface for collaboration with internal business partners and actively engage with them to ensure delivery achieves quantifiable outcomes aligned with the platform strategy.
• Maintain close partnership with data as a service, data science, data engineering and RP product teams.
• Produce and lead release processes and communications of new features and / or changes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Minimum of 13 years of experience working in a platform product mgmt. roles, successfully building cloud based data platforms from ground up.
• Strong background in data, AI and ML Ops cloud based solutions a must. Experience with GCP preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, ML Ops, data management, data governance and privacy, data quality, data lineage, ETL, and APIs
• Real Estate experience is preferred, but not required.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise cloud data platforms supporting SaaS solutions and AI innovation for B2B offerings.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building high performing product mgmt. and business analyst performance in highly matrixed organizations.
• Is a proactive go-getter who believes in project ownership with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Is eager for a challenge.
• Previous experience working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN).
• Has advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills and using data analysis tools (SQL, Python, etc) to extract data and synthesize into actionable insights.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
• Previous experience working with project management and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, Salesforce, Azure TFS) is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in Real Estate solutions such as a property management system, or asset management system is preferred but not a requirement.
