TDM currently has one (1) opening for a MP&L Coordinator for our Chicago Modification Center. Successful candidate(s) will meet the following requirements :
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work / maintain FCSD (Ford Customer Service Department) programs.
- Maintain SNC Alert monitor and Shortage monitor by answering daily alerts.
- Produce Weekly FCSD Schedule in a timely manner.
- Analyze FCSD Weekly JIT & Forecast releases to ensure parts are available for weekly shipment.
- Pick, pack, and label all FCSD parts for shipment, in accordance with customer requirements.
- Maintain 96+ SIMs score on Ford Supplier performance program for FCSD and Production.
- Monitor and maintain Ford Super G site for disputes.
- Prepares Shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in appropriate systems.
- Maintains Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information.
- Monitor and maintain Ford eDDL production screens for packaging and ship promises.
- Coordinate the shipping of freight by contacting appropriate freight carriers.
- Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment.
- Responsible for Fed Ex and UPS shipments.
- Leads communications within the Shipping / Receiving area.
- Provide guidance and direction to material handlers within the Shipping / Receiving area.
- Input incoming receiving documents into M2M company MRP system.
- Follow up receiving concerns with vendors and input in company computer system.
- File incoming receiving and shipping documents.
- Track NCPR (Nonconforming Part Reports) through Metric Stream System for supplier RMA.
- Enter data into VSR; submit to TDM Purchasing for return PO to ship supplier defects against
- Make necessary inventory transactions in accordance with TDM policies and supplier disposition.
- Complete daily scrap sheets and cost tracking for all TDM responsible scrap.
- Assist in plant inventory cycle counts, spot checks and audits.
- Maintain charts to track various cost related Key Performance Indicators.
- Run and perform analysis on daily inventory valuation and negative reports.
- Works with accounts payable to ensure all invoicing is correctly completed.
- Manage supplier schedules for delivery of production parts.
- Manage New Model Parts and prototype build events.
- Participation in safety related project teams.
- Back up to MP&L Coordinator and Shipping Receiving Coordinator
- All other tasks as directed by MP&L Superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS : MINIMUM REQUIRED :
MINIMUM REQUIRED :
- 2 year experience in clerical Shipping / Receiving / Purchasing work environment.
- Excellent time management skills, team player and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to perform data entry duties into operational systems.
- Experience with MRP systems, M2M / SAP / CMMS / AS400 or similar
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, customers and plant operations
- Proven problem solving skills
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
- Computer literate with efficiency to work with Microsoft Word, Power Point etc.
- Able to complete tasks in timely manner.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and shutdowns when required
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with measurable results
- Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner
PREFERRED : Automotive industry or warehouse experience, FSCD experience a plus
