job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSet up / Operate Multi-Axis Mill Turns and or Vertical / Horizontal Milling Machines. Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part-specific operations, which would be noted on the job router. Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics to ensure they meet within part conformance requirements, and document measurements on inspection documents. Seek supervisory help if the machine fails or measurements get completely outside limits. Document on router production, quality & scrap counts daily. Check to make sure the Coolant or Oil levels are at the proper function levels. CNC machining experience in turning or milling. Optical Industry experience is preferred but not required. Ability to read GD&T Code Ability to use all measuring tools. Materials experience : Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Plastics. 401(k) with a company match of up to 6% Medical Insurance (great coverage, low cost for employees), Vision, Dental Short-term Disability company paid Long-term Disability available.
