JOB SUMMARY

Our team of excellent developers plays a major role in shaping and supporting Consumer Direct Care Network’s enterprise class internal business applications.
JOB DUTIES
- Develop Stored Procedures in MS SQL Server
- Write complex, ad hoc SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting and advising other teams (reporting / analytics) of our data structure
- Provide peer instruction and code review (TSQL focused)
- Performance tuning of SQL queries, views, procedures and functions
- Create, maintain and advise on the use of indexes and partitions
- Assist in the design of database objects : Tables, Views, Procedures, UDTs, Functions, Indexes
- Develop and maintain ETLs using :
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Data Factories
- Azure Runbooks
- SSIS
- Stay abreast of new developments in database technologies and programming languages.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science.
- 0-5 years experience
- Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills.
- Mid - advanced level skill in MS TSQL programming
- Basic level understanding of object oriented languages (C#, Java, C++)
- Basic abilities with common scripting languages (PowerShell, bash or similar)
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technology MSSQL, Cosmos
- Familiarity with ETL tools, SSIS, DTS(x), Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Familiarity with cloud Azure hosted services (especially database), other azure services such as Azure Data Factories, Runbooks, Logic apps are a plus!
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible and / or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements.
- If remote, employee must provide their own reliable Internet connection with speeds efficient for the job duties and systems used.
