A company is looking for a Billing Follow Up Representative I to manage billing follow-up tasks in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Review accounts and apply billing follow-up knowledge for insurance payors to ensure proper reimbursement

Communicate with internal teams and external customers to validate and correct billing information

Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and comply with departmental performance standards

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Typically requires 1 year of related experience in a medical / billing reimbursement environment

Basic keyboarding proficiency and ability to operate relevant software systems

Ability to read and interpret documents related to billing and insurance

Preferred knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices
