Job Description
- Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document patient care
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
- Create Plan of Care for patients and guide ancillary personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of nursing program with Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools
