About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech

Location : Waterloo, IA

Position Type : 13-Week Contract

Schedule : Days, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to join our healthcare team in Waterloo, IA, for a 13-week contract.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vascular procedures and be proficient in operating imaging equipment.

Responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records using EPIC EMR.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform interventional radiology procedures with a focus on vascular interventions.

Accurately interpret and follow physician instructions for imaging procedures.

Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment.

Ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy.

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Document patient information and imaging results accurately using EPIC EMR.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience in a hospital setting.

Vascular experience required.

ARRT (R) certification.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Valid Iowa State License.

Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
