AECOM is seeking a Design Manager (Design Build) to be based in Seattle, WA

Job Responsibilities

Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects.

Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets.

Change and risk management.

Coordinates client needs and develops / builds on relationships for future opportunities.

Mentors, develops, and hires support staff.

Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute / resolution process.

Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals.

Builds and maintains relationships with project owners / AHJ's.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's degree + Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

Preferred Qualifications :

20+ years of transportation project experience

Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design

WSDOT Design Build Project Experience

Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects with WSDOT's on large complex highway projects.

Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.

State Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain within twelve months.

Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff

Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites

Additional Information

LI-EM1

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $170,000.00 - $261,000.00.
