Job Description :
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with a strong background in technical program management to drive large-scale, international programs that support organizational excellence.
This role involves defining tools and processes for program / project management and ensuring alignment with business strategies, budgets, and objectives.
Responsibilities : Vision & Strategy :
Vision & Strategy :
- Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and deliverables for a large, cross-functional international program.
- Ensure the program is aligned with business goals, strategies, and budgetary constraints.
- Own and maintain the program's business case, fostering coordination across functional and regional teams.
Organization, Planning & Execution :
- Hold overall accountability for achieving program objectives within financial and resource limitations.
- Manage project dependencies across the program, including vendor contracts, relationships, performance, and communications.
- Build and lead the program team, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration.
Project Management Support :
- Oversee Project Management staffing, ensuring proper resource allocation across all projects within the program.
- Support the development of project objectives and scopes in alignment with the program goals.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues related to cost, schedule, or performance.
- Lead and chair program steering committee meetings, providing critical oversight and guidance.
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including a background as a business / process leader or industry expert.
Experience in technical program management is essential.
Education : A Bachelor's degree is typically required, but equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (e.
g., High School + 12 years, Associates + 11 years).
- Technology : Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
- Soft Skills : Must be curious, proactive, and respectful with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work flexibly and collaborate effectively with teammates.
- Agile & CRM Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience at Nike is highly desirable.
- Knowledge or experience in data engineering program management is a plus.
Work Schedule :
- On-site role at WHQ (no remote work allowed).
- Flexible working hours; candidates should be available for early morning calls / meetings (e.g., 7 am 4 pm or 8 am 5 pm as needed).
