Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking Radiation Therapist 2 to join the team. This position full-time (40 hrs / week) working Monday to Friday.
Clinic Operates 6 : 30am to 5pm therefore working hours will vary. We offer great pay based on experience! Plus, don’t forget about our other amazing benefits and perks!

Requirements for consideration :
- Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Certification.
- 2 years of experience as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy department with experience in linear accelerators and patient simulation
- American Registered Radiologic Technologist required upon start.
- Basic Life Support from AHA required upon start.
Additional :
VA License preferred but not required upon start
Job Responsibilities :
- The Radiation Therapist 2 communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, supervisors and outside contacts.
- Responsible for treatment modalities and protocols to accurately set-up and administer radiation treatments on a daily basis.
- Performs simulation procedures for initial patient set-up while verifying proper functioning of linear accelerators, simulators and Computed Tomography machines.
- Maintains accurate records of daily treatments and other records as required; Documents any corrections in charts resulting from changes in the originally prescribed course of treatment.
