A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join their underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite and manage a portfolio of medium to large commercial accounts to ensure profitability

Build partnerships with independent agents through business planning and consultative service

Analyze risks and negotiate terms while collaborating cross-functionally to support growth initiatives

Required Qualifications

7+ years of commercial underwriting or related insurance experience

Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex risks

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with reinsurance practices

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; industry designations preferred
