Responsibilities :
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients with various conditions and injuries
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Experience :
- Minimum of an associate's degree in physical therapy assisting from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant
- Previous experience in occupational health is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and improve their overall physical function.
You will work closely with the physical therapist to provide hands-on treatment and support to patients. This position requires a strong background in physical therapy assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
