Overview :
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) will coordinate and oversee all activities of multiple Pediatric Oncology clinical research trials.
- This position will also involve the coordination of a consortium research program, under the direction of the PI. As the study coordinator, responsibilities include oversight of a multi-institutional study;
- data entry; specimen collection, processing, and shipment; preparation of IRB applications and all other required regulatory documents;
subject recruitment, retention, and follow-up; and other research related activities as directed by the PI. Participation in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings is required.
Requirements :
- Clinical research experience as well as experience working in a hospital setting and experience with persons with medical illnesses preferred.
- Computer and data entry knowledge required, including Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and coordinating skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Pediatric patients preferred.
