Sr. Storage Infrastructure Engineer I - Clearance (Secret)

Volt is immediately hiring Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer in Aurora, Colorado.

As Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer you will :

The Senior Storage Engineer will be responsible for managing storage services in multiple environments as well as providing solutions for storage related issues.

The candidate must be a strong troubleshooter with experience in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention.

The candidate must be a self-starter, plan effectively to complete tasks, and communicate effectively.

This position may require some on call support or occasional after-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshooting support.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

Clearance Required : Active Secret Required to Start

Technical Skills / Experience Required :

Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Network Attached Storage Systems (E.g. Dell, IBM, NetApp).

Experience with fiber channel configurations on storage, fiber channel switches, tape libraries and servers, including multipath configurations.

Experience with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity of backup solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Block and File Storage in a cross protocol system administration.

Experience with Brocade Fire Channel administration.

Experience with backup systems like Cohesity or NetBackup administration.

System administration with RHEL OS .

Experience with design and initial build of cross protocol storage solutions.

Experience with Storage Architecture and Trade Studies.

Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. : Scrum, SAFe).

Experience using automation frameworks such as Ansible or Chef.

Certification Requirements : CompTIA Security + Certification within 90 days

Education Requirements :

Typically requires BS / BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 8 years of related work experience.

Pay Rate : $75.00 - $83.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
