About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Diagnostic Imaging

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required

License : Valid State license required

Certifications : National registration with ARRT required, BLS certification required

Must-Have : Graduate of approved AMA School of Radiology and NMTCB-approved School of Nuclear Medicine

Description :

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform general duties in Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities include technical and operational procedures.

The technologist will also perform equipment troubleshooting and patient care.

Imaging study performance, including injections and administering radiopharmaceuticals, is required.

Assisting with the training of other staff is part of the role.

Inventory control and patient scheduling are additional responsibilities.

The technologist ensures compliance with regulatory agency requirements concerning Nuclear Medicine.

Experience of 1 year is preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to rotate to off-site imaging locations is necessary.

Phlebotomy skills may be required.
