This Tax Senior Manager position is within the U.S. Income Tax Compliance team.

The candidate should have a solid background in both federal and state tax compliance for large corporations. Strong analytical and accounting skills will also be important in this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of corporate and partnership returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Review tax returns and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare complex book / tax adjustments as needed.
• Utilize accounting and tax software to compile information for tax reporting.
• Support interplay between partnerships and corporations related to state filing groups, flow through of tax adjustments, and apportionment.
• Collaborate with the tax accounting team to support US tax provision.
• Contribute to process and technology improvements aimed at streamlining compliance and reporting.
• Research tax issues, review legislative developments, and evaluate the impact including tax reform.
• Work with tax planning and strategy on items impacting tax returns.
• Build collaborative working relationships across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Fortune 500 experience needed.
• Leading a team of Tax Compliance professionals.

Critical Skills

• Proficiency working with common accounting and income tax software, CorpTax expertise preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance processes, including consolidations, elections, and disclosures.
• Working tax accounting knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Big Four experience desired.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position : $108,700 - $181,100
