The Pharmacy Operations Manager works in conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy in the various activities involving the direct supervision of the pharmacy supervisors and daily pharmacy operations including but not limited to workflow, scheduling, automation management and quality processes within the pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Operations Manager will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure pharmacy best practices are implemented.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and / or GED equivalent programs or equivalent work experience.
2. At least three (3) years of previously effective supervisory experience
3. Prior Pharmacy supervisory experience in the Pharmacy setting.
4. Must be comfortable using multiple software programs.
5. Must be organized and possess effective time management skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
1. High-volume pharmacy experience.
2. Bachelor's degree.
Licenses and Certifications Required :
1. Pharmacy Technician License within 6 months of entering position.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred :
1. Advanced Pharmacy Technician Certification - PTCB.
