Job Description :

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Tester in Menands, NY.

Description :

Manage all testing activities, including UI, automated, load, integration, performance, and scalability testing for the application.
Manage all preparation and execution of test documentation. Develop test plans / scope, test scenarios, test cases, scripts and comprehensive test data.
Identify technical and functional software defects and work with Business Analyst and development team to log and resolve these defects using defect / issue tracking software.
Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities

Mandatory Qualification :

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created / upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements.
Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.
Understands the view of applications and / or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and / or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his / her field.
84 months conducting functional, technical and performance testing for web applications
60 months performing defect management
60 months experience creating and executing test plans, scenarios and test cases
24 months experience creating automated testing scripts
24 months experience using issue tracking tools such as Redmine or Jira
12 months experience using SQL
