Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Home . The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess expertise in various areas such as acute care, geriatrics, and orthopedics.
Duties :
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility and function
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications :
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care, geriatrics, orthopedics, and hospital medicine
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
