BGSF has partnered with our well established Northwest client and is in search of an Accountant with some experience in Tax (preferably State and Local).
This is a great opportunity with training and mentorship.
3+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry preferred
Onsite in Northwest Houston with an AMAZING team
Will be responsible for vendor reviews, sales and use tax exemption certificates, and audit support.
Preparation and upload of sales and use tax self-assessments, audit results and refund claims.
Processing various tax returns for electronic filing, maintaining electronic files and folders, scanning source documents, and retaining all necessary documentation.
Assisting in maintaining tax calendar for all filings. May work under the supervision of a Staff Tax Accountant.
Other duties as assigned.
