Job Description :

As a Full Stack Developer Intern at neuro42, Inc., you will have the opportunity to contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions crucial to our healthcare improvement mission.

You will engage in a variety of projects, from web applications to database systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web and native applications, focusing on performance, security, and user experience.
• Support the creation and optimization of relational databases.
• Learn and apply software engineering best practices for code management and testing.
• Contribute to the development of cloud-based infrastructure for handling sensitive clinical data.
• Aid in the development of automation and test tools to support engineering efforts.
• Participate in the development of server-side APIs, RESTful services, and integration with external APIs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to enhance development processes.
• Support the team in projects related to MRI, DICOM viewers, and robotics.

Qualifications :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced coursework or projects related to software development preferred.
• Basic understanding or academic experience in full stack development concepts and project collaboration.
• Familiarity with programming in languages such as Python; experience with Qt is a plus.
• Exposure to front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Django, Node.js, and relational databases.
• Interest in learning about version control systems (e.g., Git), development tools (e.g., VS Code, Visual Studio), and cloud services (AWS / GCP).
• Basic understanding of database management systems such as MongoDB and SQL.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passionate about healthcare technology and contributing to projects that have a meaningful impact.
